cmotion cGate is a unique miniature signal converter, that converts industry standard LBUS protocol into an Internet Protocol (IP) and vice versa.
cmotion cGate bridges lens and camera control from any LBUS controller over existing IP infrastructure, including Ethernet (LAN), IP-based RF solutions or any supported fiber channel system.
With its robust anodized aluminum housing, its intuitive user interface, 6 accessible buttons and sunlight-visible status LEDs on the sides of the device, cGate is built to withstand demanding use on film sets, while meeting the need for an easy setup with minimum IT knowledge.
While solving daily issues on film sets and within challenging RF environments, cmotion cGate also opens up multiple use cases to integrate innovative cinematic tools into established workflows for TV and live broadcast.
